This place scares me! From the moment you try and get in to getting out the fear factor is there.
To get in you either jump of the end at ‘Dead Dogs’ and paddle round the back of the lineup. Sounds easy but when you’re standing at the end with 8ft waves looking like they’re going to slam you into the point it ain’t. Apparently Pat O’Connell got utterly f****d getting in here.
The alternative is jump in half way up the point and paddle hard across the line up.

Getting out isn’t any better with a killer rip pulling you right and an exit point the size of a postage stamp. On a big day you could end up at Crazy Left instead!
Getting out at hisgh tide is even worse. I was stuck in for about an hour with 3 other guys trying to get out at high one night!
