1. King Kong Lefts
Flawless hollow reefbreak that is within paddling distance of the beach. The spot gets its name from the fact King Kong was filmed on Nagigia Island
2. Frigate Pass
Deep water reef pass that picks up unadulterated open-ocean swells. Heavy, hollow lefts and an air of foreboding!
3. Serua Rights
4. Hideaway
5. Sigatoka Rivermouth
Various breaks in the Sigatoka Sand Dunes National Park. Good right into the river mouth during the rainy season
6. Cloudbreak
One of the best lefts on the planet. Breaks a mile out to sea and peels across a coral reef, barrelling as it goes. Thick and fast, Cloudbreak is a fairly intimidating and complex wave requiring an understanding of the setup
7. Restaurants
World class, long, perfect, barelling left over a shallow, very sharp coral reef. 15 second tubes are not unheard of with whackable sections in between
8. Swimming Pools
Less exposed right hander producing fun, often hollow waves. Resort wave that is available to the public on Saturdays only
9. Namotu Lefts
Mellower than the Tavarua spots but the same resort guests only set up. Gets heavier with size
10. Wilkes Pass
Fast, walling right leading into an inside bowl section. This exposed reef pass is named after a bunch of pirates who escaped through it!
